My artistic contributions are windows, doorways, staircases, and views into ethereal worlds that merge the celestial with the worldly, connecting what is above to what is below—heaven and earth. These portals are symbolic of a route to growth, transition, and transcendence. Through my work, I seek to break through to hidden inner realms, express the world of the spirit in material form, and share these realities with others. By doing so, my pieces radiate energy through visual language and bring light into the darkness. My art can help viewers manifest their most elevated capabilities, which can be utilized in everyday life to benefit themselves and all of life. This allows us to relate to one another in a richer, fuller, and more meaningful way. As an artist, I derive meaning by breathing life into a wide array of mixed-media materials to express, conjure, and create something authentic. Using my art as a conduit for self-reflection provides the viewer with respite and space to contemplate internally. My goal is to touch and prompt viewers to connect with their enigmatic and limitless divinity, providing a visual guide that aids in their discovery of enrichment, fulfillment, wholeness, and self-realization. 

The 16th-century alchemist Gerhard Dorn described his notion of what he called the “spiracle” as a window or breathing hole into eternity. In the field of consciousness, the spiracle is considered a hole or passageway that allows the “autonomous dynamism (or independent movement) of the collective unconscious” to penetrate into the personal unconscious. One of the most important aspects of my artwork is the layering of different materials. This layering represents the different facets of our inner world and the uncovering of our various layers. Spiracles offer us valuable awareness and perspective, which can be used to understand and integrate these different parts of ourselves so that we may come into alignment and harmony internally and externally. By doing so, we are able to heal and transcend the confusion and inner turmoil that obscure our higher personal potential. In refining our own situations, we can more effectively relate to the outer world and create a more peaceful environment that holds a deeper solidarity with all life. We have the ability to purify and uplift our consciousness and perceptions, which in turn supports everyone and everything around us to do the same. We thus serve as conduits for awakening and relief from suffering, becoming capable of assisting others to do the same. 

Through my artistic endeavors, I materialize a mode of communication onto each wooden panel (canvas), conveying states of consciousness and spirituality that surpass words. Instead, these panels beckon intention, wonder, desire, curiosity, and connection with Oneness, prompting viewers to look deeply inside themselves to resonate with similar reflections. These reflections can provide viewers with support, connectedness, and self-sufficiency to help them feel solid on their own journeys through life. In this way, my art pieces can be understood as transmissions from the spirit world and mystical artifacts that go beyond space and time. I wish to give the viewer a unique glimpse into mysterious, previously unknown, and uncharted territory so they may encounter unlimited possibilities that can expand and spiritualize their reality, allowing them to more fully embody their spiritual awareness in the physical dimension. 

The enduring mark I want to leave on the world is the empowering nature of uniting fragments of consciousness and achieving balance. By providing healing properties and moving toward the realization of higher understanding and expression, my work connects us with the entirety of our humanity, guiding us through daily challenges and reconciling inner conflicts. Comprehending the mystical and ethereal parts of ourselves leads us to wholeness and initiates the transcendental process of discovering our spiritual life, facilitating our higher evolution forward.
