As showcased in the contemporary art scene at the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy in San Francisco, Jesse Butterfield's mixed media art explores themes of higher consciousness, reminiscent of abstract art.

Jesse Butterfield was born and raised in San Francisco, California, a city rich in abstract art and contemporary art influences. He is extremely grateful for the exposure to various forms of mixed media art and diverse cultures, which have contributed to his journey towards higher consciousness.
Jesse Butterfield was born and raised in San Francisco, California, where he developed a deep appreciation for various forms of art and culture, influenced by international perspectives. His journey into contemporary art began in his youth when he studied animation at the De Young Museum in San Francisco. With a mother who served as a figure model for many prominent artists and at the San Francisco Art Institute, Jesse was immersed in the world of art from an early age. In 2007, he traveled to Europe to advance his knowledge in the art of Venetian plaster, a key medium in his mixed media art creations. These experiences have fostered an open-minded, curious, and experimental approach to art, enabling him to cultivate a higher consciousness and an ever-evolving level of creativity.
Living in and exploring areas of natural wonder such as the Monterey Bay Area, northern California, San Diego, Sedona, Arizona, and Santa Fe, New Mexico, Jesse has developed a remarkable ability to create abstract art that integrates and embodies the grandeur of nature. His works feature inviting color palettes that evoke an organic yet fantastical quality, producing pieces that harmoniously balance the heavens and the earth. This artifice enlivens not just the viewer, but also the surrounding space.
"Nature is not matter only, she is also spirit. Spirit seems to be the inside of things...the soul of objects." - C.G. Jung from "The Earth Has a Soul"
